Hide out in an Underground Cafe | Get Some Coffee 겟썸커피 Gangnam

vibes

Being underground has a weird calming effect. I never thought I would vibe with a dimly-lit cafe, but my time at Get Some proved to be a pleasant experience. The interior is quite strange, with straw hats hung on trees, antique chests filled with vases and other old shit, and an open kitchen that almost looks unfinished.

Kang and I tried the coconut latte (a new fad these days), dutch cappuccino, and the bacon and chocolate chip cookie. If you like sweeter drinks, I would definitely recommend the coconut latte. For those who prefer the flavor of coffee, the dutch cappuccino is a better alternative. I could barely taste the bacon on the cookie. It was essentially a glorified chocolate chip cookie. It was quite expensive too (around 4,000 won).

final thots

This cafe is definitely worth visiting! It's close to Gangnam Station, so it's a great pit stop while you're shopping your life away and a great way to cool down in this overwhelming summer heat.

pros: good drinks, unique interior, ample seating

cons: nothing really

what i recommend: coconut latte, dirty cappuccino

find it: 46-6 Nonhyeon-ro 159-gil, Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
