The Art of Korean Cafes | Perhaps 퍼햅스 - Jamsil

vibes

Stepping into this cafe feels like stepping into a person’s home. Perhaps is a tiny corner cafe brimming with charm to the point of surreality. I found perfection behind every imperfect detail including the textured white walls, the handmade table cloth, the wrinkled magazines.

foods

If I’m coming back (which one day I will) it won’t be for the baked goods. They served one purpose and it was to look good on a plate. The brownie was hard and dry, possibly stale. It probably tasted better when it was first made, because the flavor itself was quite good (I could taste the deep espresso notez heh). The scone was definitely better tasting.

I ordered a seasonal strawberry drink because it was the summer. I feel like I always regret ordering seasonal drinks. But the latte was good.

final thoughts

I love it. It’s a cozy place that’s perfect for a intimate coffee date. I wouldn’t bring more than one other person here, though, since it’s so small. I would venture to say it’s nice even for a solo trip, since there are so many adorable details to take in from the surroundings.
