Here is your guide to food and restaurants in Seoul, California, New York, and Nashville mmm.

[Cafe Review] Brownholic Coffee Roasters 브라운홀릭 Gangnam

What I love about Seoul is its penchant for cafes.  Every street in Seoul is studded with them, whether it be study, character, or animal inspired, or one of the ubiquitous Paris Baguette, Ediya, or Holly's Coffee shops.  I came across this cafe accidentally, but I'm so glad that I did.

Vibes

The building has a garish blue entrance that you really can't miss.  Inside, there's a setup of white tables next to wall covered in dark green vines and red flowers, creating a really pretty backdrop. The cafe has a lot of space, and serves a very chill and relaxing atmosphere.

Fooods

The cakes are BEAUTIFUL and are out of this world in taste.  The cheesecake is slightly tart, and not too sweet.  The texture is almost mousse-y but I think I prefer cheesecake this way.  The banana tart is delicious and very subtle. The juices and ades are so refreshing and beautiful. You can tell that they spend time making their drinks instead of pouring premade syrup into water.

Final Thots

The combination of enjoying a juice with cake and sitting by the beautiful backdrop was to die for. I would highly recommend this place if you want to find somewhere to relax and chat with friends or if you need a break from walking around Gangnam in the dying heat!  Finally, if you just love cafes like I do, this is definitely the place to try out!
