[Cafe Review] Meerkat Cafe 미어캣프랜즈 Hongdae
Vibes
It's a very nice, bright atmosphere. Reminiscent of a children's daycare complete with caddies and sky blue and baby pink crocs to change into.
Fooods
Instead of a cover charge, you are required to pay for an overpriced drink. We just ordered a mango basil seed drink (which actually tasted really good) and grapefruit juice. They were about 8,000-10,000.
Final Thots
A unique cafe if you are looking for daytime entertainment besides shopping and eating. You probably won't be able to experience this anywhere else, so it's a fun place to check out! However, I do realize that this business, as with most animal cafes, is problematic/sad in many ways.
pros: super clean, lots of opportunity for close interaction with animals
cons: napping time, wild animals in cages
find it: 364-3 Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea (between hongik station and sangsu station)
