Here is your guide to food and restaurants in Seoul, California, New York, and Nashville mmm.

Family Friendly Pancakes |Pancake Pantry Nashville

vibes

This is the quintessential, All-American breakfast establishment. The interior reminds me of a rich white person's winter cabin in Utah. The people are so friendly and help you feel at home.

fooods

I think it's safe to say that all the breakfast menu items taste good. The menu is consistent in that all the items are made to a certain higher standard, which is great. All the standard breakfast items, the buttermilk pancakes, the bacon, eggs, and sugar and spice pancakes are yum. If you want to try something unique, I would suggest the Santa Fe Cornmeal Pancakes. It's the perfect balance of flavors with the savory cornmeal pancake with bacon and green chillis and sweet maple syrup. The one dish I wasn't particularly impressed by was the Grill Cook's Medley. They really hype it up to be something special, but it's just a combination of vegetables and potatoes with two eggs plopped on top. The orange juice is just from a Tropicana carton and the milk is the same brand as CVS milk (ew) so I wouldn't waste my money on it.

final thots

There is a little too much hype for this place. If you're in need of classic breakfast food, you definitely won't be let down, but don't expect your life to be changed or anything. I wouldn't wait an hour in line for it though.

pros: family friendly, good service

cons: long wait at convenient breakfast times. Check website for their "Pancake Cam" to check whether there's a line

what I recommend: Buttermilk Pancakes, Santa Fe Cornmeal Pancakes, Bacon

find it: 1796 21st Avenue South, Nashville, Tennessee 37212
