4 Aesthetic Places in Hongdae for the Instagram Hoe

1. Ader Error

Is it a store? A museum? Gallery? You can't fucking tell. It's a magical and confusing place that takes you through an orgasmic visual maze. Make sure to explore every nook and cranny, especially the bathroom themed exhibits.

If you want a souvenir, but can't afford over-priced Asian streetwear, then I suggest buying their 6,000 won socks (they cute).

Address: 19-18 Wausan-ro 21-gil, Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea

2. Style Nanda flagship store and Pink Pool Cafe

This is every aesthetic boy and girl’s wet dream. A free photobooth and amazing 3CE selection on the first floor, then three floors of cute af clothing, and finally a pink pool cafe. Buy a pastry or an overly-priced drink to enjoy a room full of pretty, pink backdrops…and a pool for christ’s sake.

Address: 23 Wausan-ro 29da-gil, Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea

3. Ver's Garden

Imagine drinking chocolate shakes and herbal teas under a canopy of beautifully assorted potted plants. Ver’s is definitely a Hongdae version of Project 413, but with more tropical plants and a smaller space. They focus on using healthy ingredients and decorating plants with cute herbs and flowers. Peep the little sage leaf in my straw! I get off on this kinda shit. Apparently at night they also serve wine. Fancy.

Address: 10, Donggyo-ro 41-gil, Mapo-gu. Seoul 03983.

4. Dr. Althea store

This store is a multi-story cosmetics and clothing store that has an eye-catching photo-venue in the front. It’s also placed in a super lit area, right next to Chuu and Style Nanda perfect for those basic af Instagram posts. Make it interesting with cute outfits and edgy poses! Y’all, I have no idea what they sell cuz I didn’t give 2 fux, so you’re going to have to figure that one out yourselves!

Address: 16 Wausan-ro 29da-gil, Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea

5. Luft Coffee

Luft is a wonderful spacious white box with some unfinished decorations. Back when I visited, I thought it was part of the aesthetic, but I think the place was actually not fully renovated. There’s a pool-type space in the middle, a modern bar on the left, and palm trees scattered around. There’s a lot of room and a bunch of different textures perfect for some lit instagram pics heh.

Address: 04553 1F, 308 Samil-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul

2. Contoyner

RIP Contoyner 10.20.2018. Damn I’m sad. This was definitely the most Instagram-worthy cafe I have ever been to and it’s unfortunately gone out of business TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.
