A Super Aesthetic Social Dining Experience | Dinette Seoul 디네트 서울 Itaewon
vibes
Dinette’s interior is such a mood. So decadent, elegant and very reminiscent of the Roaring Twenties (think Great Gatsby). The trendy emerald velvet chairs are paired so tastefully with light toned wood, turquoise walls, slate grey window frames, and a beautiful plum Persian rug. Just the atmosphere itself will make your dining experience truly special. They also have a stunning private room for free use in case of events.
What’s unique about Dinette is their focus on healthy eating. They have a beautiful rooftop garden from which they grow their own herbs and greens that are used in their dishes. This place is perfect for taking some Instagram worthy photos.
food
I started with a Seafood Avocado Salad (23,000) and Green Grape Juice (9,000), then followed with a Prosciutto Rucola Mozzarella and Parmesan Pizza (22,000). They serve various fresh juices as well as American alcoholic drinks like Mimosas and Bloody Marys (11,000-13,000). I decided to go light and start with a juice. The green grape tasted fresh and subtly sweet, overall a great start to the meal.
The Seafood Avocado Salad was such an aesthetically pleasing dish. The colors of the salmon, herbs, quinoa, and avocado were so harmonious. As for the taste, the fattiness in the avocado and smoked salmon made an impeccable match with the quinoa. I could’ve done without the squid, however, which I thought had a slightly fishy (totally based on personal taste). If you enjoy seafood and smoked salmon I would recommend this dish.
My favorite dish was most definitely the Prosciutto Rucola Pizza. It was quite rich due to the generous amount of prosciutto (can’t complain about that), but the arugula helped balance out the salt and fat. The perfectly chewy dough and mild-tasting cheese created a base that helped showcase the main ingredients. It was a simple dish that truly showcased the quality of Dinette’s ingredients.
