[Cafe Review] VERS 벌스 Hongdae

How about sitting in a garden while enjoying a refreshing drink? this cafe is filled wall to wall with flowers, succulents, palms, you name it. obviously, i just came for the aesthetic. this place uses flowers to decorate their drinks so of course, I had to check it out

Vibes

Beautiful cafe, but not gonna lie it was borderline dusty/dirty. One corner smelled like old flowers which is not my favorite thing. I changed seats several times to find the perfect one, a booth right by the window where the lighting was the best. It was still very calming to be hidden in all the plants, and it served as an escape from the urban mess that is seoul. 

Fooods

Sorry, I could only afford to try one drink. but damnnn was it good.  I ordered the herb chocolate shake. the lady handed me this beautiful drink decorate with pink flowers (this is what I came for) and a little green herb that you're supposed to chew before enjoying your drink. It was subtly sweet and had an amazing texture with tiny pieces of chocolate throughout. so expensive but I thought it was worth.

Final Thots

Love the exterior and interior, and there are lots of things to look at while enjoying amazing drinks. I would stay away from the flower wall, which smelled weird. If you are genuinely into plants, want to take pretty photos, or want to buy some plants, I recommend checking it out
